Welcome to Student Voice
What is Student Voice?
Student Voice is a section of the Near North District School Board (NNDSB) website that gives space to the students in our board to share their thoughts, concerns and work. In the process of providing news and information about the board, we want to ensure students have a place to share what matters to them.
NNDSB has approximately 10,000 students across 34 schools; 27 elementary, six secondary, and one alternative learning centre.
"The power of student voice puts the power of change in our hands"
- Cecilia Darling, NNDSB Student Trustee

How do I submit content?
All NNDSB students are encouraged to submit work for inclusion on this page. The submission should be emailed to Student.Voice@nearnorthschools.ca. By submitting you acknowledge that your work will be published on the NNDSB website, and possibly on social media channels. Please include name, grade and school, and indicate if you would like only a first name used online.
Some schools already have a Student Voice rep who will be seeking submissions from their peers and/or covering events and submitting work.
