The French Immersion program aims to develop and refine students’ ability to communicate in French. The Immersion program also provides students with an understanding and appreciation of francophone culture in Canada and around the world. At the secondary level, schools will grant a certificate in French Immersion when the student has completed the sequence of four courses in French Immersion and six courses in other subjects taught in French.
