Download Word Q

Word Q is assistive technology software designed to help individuals who struggle with writing. WordQ uses word prediction to suggest words that the user is typing into documents and emails, helping with spelling. It also uses high-quality Acapela text-to-speech voices to read back text that the user has entered, allowing for proofreading and editing.

Students and teachers of the Near North District School Board are permitted to download Word Q software. Follow the link and use your Near North credentials to sign in.

Simply select the Student Files link and you will arrive on the Word Q download screen – there are two choices – French and English.​​

SEAC Parent Survey Summary

​​One of the goals of the SEAC Committee is to develop a stronger link with our parent community groups. In order to help us achieve this goal, we surveyed our parents in 2009 so that we can gain meaningful information that will help us plan for the future.
