It's Not Too Late to Register for 2020-2021
The Near North District School Board accepts school registrations through an online application process.
The online registration package is available for families registering their children for school with the Near North District School Board. Children turning four (4) years of age on or before December 31st of the current year and students who are new to the Near North District School Board can access the online Registration Form. Schools will contact families to confirm receipt of the registration form.
Find your zoned school using the Eligibility Query School Locator before completing the registration package.
Please note: The information entered on the online registration form cannot be saved; therefore, the online registration MUST be completed in one sitting. Please expect to spend 20-30 minutes completing the online registration form. Fields that do not apply to you or for which you do not have the information can be left blank.
When the school contacts parents/guardians to confirm receipt of the registration, they will make arrangements for a meeting to obtain the following original documents. These will be copied and returned.

Children with Special Needs:
While the transition into school for students with special needs might require a little more planning, the staff at NNDSB are happy to assist parents in making the transition to school as easy as possible. With the help of our Special Education Department, we will work alongside parents and community services to develop a program that meets your child’s needs. Reach out to your school to begin planning for a successful and safe school start-up!
“In any given classroom, children may demonstrate a wide range of strengths and needs. Kindergarten educators plan programs that recognize this diversity and design tasks that respect the children’s particular abilities so that every child can derive the greatest possible benefit from the learning process”.
