CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS:
While the transition into school for students with special needs might require a little more planning, the staff at NNDSB are happy to assist parents in making the transition to school as easy as possible. With the help of our Special Education Department, we will work alongside parents and community services to develop a program that meets your child’s needs. Reach out to your school to begin planning for a successful and safe school start-up!
“In any given classroom, children may demonstrate a wide range of strengths and needs. Kindergarten educators plan programs that recognize this diversity and design tasks that respect the children’s particular abilities so that every child can derive the greatest possible benefit from the learning process.”
