The Cross Country Running team is a team that is open to students of all grades and running abilities. From beginners to seasoned athletes, this team is all about having fun while keeping fit, and pushing yourself to achieve your best. Race distances are 3 km for special needs athletes, 4 km for midget (grade 9), 5 km for junior and 6 km for senior. Practices take place Mondays and Wednesdays after school from early September to early November. We usually attend 5 races per season, usually about one per week starting in late September. We welcome all students who would like to join the team – no try-outs needed!
