Code of Conduct

PARRY SOUND HIGH SCHOOL

NNDSB CODE OF CONDUCT

The Near North District School Board continues to take steps and enact procedures that enhance the safety of students and staff members in its schools and that promote clear standards of behaviour.  The School Board’s Code of Conduct and individual School Codes of Conduct reflect the requirements outlined in Policy/Program Memorandum No. 128 (October 4, 2007).  The Ontario standards of behaviour apply to all individuals (students, parents/guardians, staff members, volunteers, partners, etc.) involved in the schools and activities of the Near North District School Board, –– whether they are on school property, on school buses, travelling to and from school, at school-authorized events or activities, or involved in acts off school property which affect the tone of the school.

In consultation with the staff, school council, First Nations’ Counsellors and students’ council, Parry Sound High School has established a School Code of Conduct that operates under the umbrella of the provincial and Board codes. This document will be posted on the school website and made available to all stakeholders.

Parry Sound High School is committed to the following:

  • ensuring that all members of the school community, especially people in positions of authority, are treated with respect and dignity
