The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit will be conducting Hepatitis B, Human Papillomavirus and Meningococcal vaccinations for grade 7 students. The meningococcal vaccination is a mandatory vaccine for attendance at school in the province of Ontario. Consent forms are being sent home with students for the hepatitis B and HPV vaccines.

Game Brain is an interactive educational game show, funded by The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and hosted by YTV personalities from "Splatalot". Topics include the risks of youth gambling, signs of a gambling problem, and where to get help if need be.
