Parent engagement matters. Study after study has shown that student achievement improves when parents play an active role in their children's education, and that good schools become even better schools when parents are involved.
One way to get involved with your child’s education is to attend Chippewa Secondary School Parent Advisory Council meetings. School councils play a vital role in the education system in Ontario. They provide a forum through which parents and other members of school communities can contribute to improving student achievement and school performance. They also provide a forum for communication and information sharing between parents and the school.
