Students are expected to dress appropriately for school, with regard to the following:
- Clothing should be clean and tidy.
- Bandanas are to be taken off in the school building, including hanging from backpacks, belt
loops, etc. - No inappropriate or offensive t-shirt messages (no alcohol, sex, drugs or put-downs).
- Tops and bottoms must overlap.
- Shirts with draping arm holes (e.g. muscle shirts), cutouts in clothing, see-through clothing, low
cut shirts, bathing suits, backless tops or backless dresses are not permitted. - Shorts and skirts (must be 2 inches below the thigh crease when standing, sitting and bending).
- Accessories or jewelry cannot be distracting or perceived as a weapon. Neck wear should be
constructed of breakaway material, or preferably not worn at all. - Perfume and cologne or heavily scented products are not permitted.
- Indoor shoes, appropriate for physical activity, should be worn in the building at all times.
Proper athletic shoes must be worn for physical education classes and sporting events. - Outwear will not be worn in class.
- Pyjama bottoms will not be worn to school unless it is a special activity day.
