Chippewa coaches recognize the value and input that ALL players bring to a team. Being part of a team means that you can do something bigger than you could otherwise do by yourself. The team awards are selected by their coaches in recognition of specific traits and roles that some players assume on a team.

The athlete of the year awards are given to athletes who excel in multiple sports. These athletes not only separate themselves with their athletic achievement, but also with strong character. These recipients are conscientious students, positive role models within the school, and compete with excellent sportsmanship.

The annual athletic banquet grants awards and recognition to individual athletes. But it is important for us to recognize the contribution that all athletes make to teams and sport. Only a few of our amazing athletes will go home, or in this case stay home, having been recognized for their individual achievements. In closing, we would like to acknowledge all of our athletes who dedicate their time and effort to representing Chippewa. We are proud of your accomplishments and admire the sportsmanship you exhibit in competition. All the best in your future endeavours!
