Dear Future JK Families:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Silver Birches Elementary School. We are so excited to get started on this learning journey together.
Under normal circumstances, we would have had you and your child in for our “Welcome to Kindergarten” event to participate in a variety of centres and activities with adults from our school and community agencies. This year, we are doing things a little differently! Our ELK team has put together a “Sway” presentation to introduce our school, program, and staff. We hope this will give you a glimpse into life as a Junior Kindergarten student at our amazing school! Over the next two weeks we will also be sending you some easy activities you and your child can do at home together. In the Fall, we will have a bag of resources such as books, magnetic letters, plasticine, crayons, and recipes to take home with you!
