We are a small community school that takes pride in knowing our students well and supporting them in ways that are effective and meaningful to them. Students are greeted with a smile and warm welcome each morning by our caring staff, in preparation for a full day of learning. Staff use students’ strengths to learn and guide them through challenging areas of their academics and social/emotional development.
We are fortunate to have a beautiful yard where we engage in outdoor learning and athletic activities. Students are able to use the yard for typical sporting activities, as well as some non-traditional school activities like snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
We are supported and embraced by our community in many ways, demonstrated by their involvement in programs in our school and invitations to community activities. We are also blessed to have a very active Parent Council (SAC) who seek to provide an environment of opportunities for our students.
