The interview typically follows the literacy assessment. We ask that you present ALL documents from the checklist at this interview.
However, we recommend waiting to apply for your vulnerable sector check until 2 weeks before the program start.
BEFORE YOU START! Please see this Checklist to Start that is mandatory for all students. Completing the checklist takes some time, and we want students to be aware of the requirements well in advance.

TRAIN TO BE A CUSTODIAN IN A HANDS-ON ENVIRONMENT
Participants will do their theoretical learning in a classroom then apply those skills in a school environment. Our Custodial Services Training Program is brand new but you can learn about the student experience at a similar program offered by our friends at Durham Catholic District School Board here.
This opportunity is available to people aged 18 and older. Participants who do not have a Grade 12 diploma can earn up to six Ontario Secondary School Diploma credits while training to become a custodian. If you are interested, you can request an educational assessment by contacting Laurentian Learning Centre, 705-472-5419 Ext. 5995.
