E. W. Norman Public School is JK – Grade 6 school of approximately 160 students, that is proud to be a ‘small’ school with a BIG heart! We are a dual track school with Extended French Immersion programming at the Grade 5 and 6 level.
EW Norman Public School is named after Edward Willliam (Ted) Norman who was born in 1883. Ted was a pioneer in Widdifield Township and was both a school board Secretary-Treasurer and Trustee. Ted was also a Township Councillor and Reeve. He was a dedicated community leader and untiring volunteer in public affairs. In recognition of his contribution to education E.W. Norman Public School was named in his honour when it opened in 1963.
