Prepare to Graduate!
All students require 30 credits including 18 compulsory credits and 12 elective credits to graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. A copy of the potential grad list is posted in the guidance office. Be sure to check that your name is on the list! Students also require 40 hours of documented community service and successful completion of the Literacy test or course equivalent. An Ontario Certificate is available for students who have achieved 14 credits or more and are leaving school.

Apprenticeships & Dual Credits
Looking for a path outside the traditional high school classroom? Apprenticeships and dual credits (college + high school) are now available without cost. Students can earn high school credits while earning their Level 1 Apprenticeship in a trade or by taking college courses at Canadore. Transportation, text books and uniforms, if required, are provided.
