In the case of rain\/extreme cold in accordance with Board guidelines, outdoor recesses will be cancelled, and
\nyour child will participate in indoor activities. In the event of severe weather conditions resulting in school closures or the cancellation of transportation, the Board will notify the local radio stations before 7:00 am.<\/p>\n
Please listen to your local radio station for this information. In the rare event of an early dismissal due to severe or worsening weather, contact with a parent or alternate must be made before students are permitted to leave the school.<\/p>\n
If the school is open, but buses are cancelled, any students transported to school by parents must be picked up
\nby parents at the end of the school day (3:10). Students are asked not to arrive before 8:35.<\/p>\n
If buses are cancelled, we will follow an alphabetical dismissal based on student’s last name. We do ask that
\nyou respect the time slots to ensure the safety of all students:<\/p>\n

We understand that weather can be unpredictable and can change throughout the day. If changes for pickup occur later in the day, after 12 pm, we ask that you contact the school as soon as possible as teachers are not always able to check email throughout the instructional learning day.
